LMU Food Quality Hose

Application: A flexible hose for suction and delivery applications, used in food and beverage industries. Developed especially for breweries, it is also suitable for use for alcohol with concentration levels of up to 96%. LMU is suitable for drinking water supply according to WRAS.

Feature: Kink resistant, sturdy, though extremely light. Tasteless, odourless. High temperature resistance.

Standard/approval: BfR (formerly BgVV) III:2002, MEBAK, Weihen stephan, WRAS (no.1105514), FDA (CFR21§177.2600).

Notice: Very high resistance to many aggressive cleaning agents. For applications of cleaning agents, please see our separate information sheet.

ATTENTION: Not suitable for dry conveyance.

Temperature range: -35°C/+95°C steam cleaning up to max.130°C/30min, unpressurised.

Safety factor: 3,15:1

Tube: UPE, transparent, smooth, food quality, grease resistant, suitable for drinking water

Reinforcement: Textile wrapped.

Cover: SBR/NR/EPDM, red, abrasion resistant, ozone and weather resistant, cloth impression.

Marking: Continuous transfer tape, white: "SEMPERIT S LMU-UPE Lebensmittel/Food D PN12bar".
